Page Valley News highlights adoptable pets
from the Page County Animal Shelter to showcase their personality.
This is Slate
Slate and his other litter mates arrived at the shelter after their owner had passed away, and is about 3 years old. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Slate is a gentle gray sweetheart with the softest fur and the most expressive eyes. At first, Slate and his siblings were shy and unsure of their new surroundings. But with time, patience, and plenty of kindness, Slate has truly blossomed. Now when you walk into the room, he greets you with the loudest, cutest meows — as if he’s making sure you know he’s there and ready for attention!
His once-timid nature has given way to a loving, affectionate personality that shines brighter every day. All he really wants is to play half the day away, get all cozy on a warm lap, and someone to love him as much as he’ll love them in return.
If you’d like to meet Slate,
you can call us at Page County Animal Shelter at (540)-778-2101
