This is Smudge…
Smudge came to the shelter after she and her littermates were abandoned when their owner passed away. She is about 3 years old and has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped.
Smudge is a sweet and thoughtful kitty who is gradually learning that people can be kind and safe. When she first arrived at the shelter she was understandably very shy. Over time, she’s been slowly gaining confidence and showing glimpses of her gentle personality. She responds wonderfully to patience, soft voices, and tasty treats, which help her feel more comfortable and encourage her to come a bit closer each day.
One of her most endearing habits is her slow blink. With a calm environment and steady, gentle attention, Smudge is steadily blossoming into a loving companion. She would thrive in a home where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace while enjoying quiet affection and treats along the way.
