Meet Yakko, Wakko, and Dot!
This delightful trio was brought to the shelter after they were dropped at someone’s home alongside their mother. They came in as babies and have, unfortunately, had to grow up in the shelter. In the brief amount of time that they were available for adoption, they caught a case of ringworm from another cat before we were able to identify and quarantine the culprit. Treatment for ringworm is lengthy and takes up to two months, leading to this poor trio having to grow up in captivity to the age of 4.5 months. However, they have finished their treatment, are symptom free, and are ready to go home!
Their little group consists of two brothers (Yakko & Wakko) and one sister (Dot). The two boys are noticeably bigger than their little sister, but Dot doesn’t let that slow her down! They are very animated and love to play together. When they’re not being rambunctious, they’re actually quite calm and snuggly.
Because they had to be held a lot during their treatment, they’ve adjusted quite well to being handled. They practically go limp in your hands and just purr.
Yakko is charismatic and brave.
Dot is curious and sweet.
And Wakko’s the funny foodie!
Did we mention they have some of the softest and plushest fur you’ve ever seen? It’s like practically cuddling your own cloud. This trio has been some of the most well behaved kittens we’ve ever met and they’ll certainly be missed!
If you’d like to get to know these guys or if you have any questions,
please send the shelter an email inquiry or call the Page County Animal Shelter at (540) 778-2101. Please keep an eye out for our email reply. Sometimes they find their way to the spam/junk folder.
