The capital stock was fixed at $75,000, of which $40,000 was taken at once, the V.L.&I. Co., subscribing most liberally to the enterprise. The company is assured that the balance of the stock will be taken in Baltimore. Another meeting of the subscribers will be held this week when the officers of the company will be elected.
