Neon sign erected

Luray-Cave Hill

July 19, 1962 — One of the largest neon highway signs ever to be seen in Page County has been erected east of Luray by the Tastee Freez Enterprises.

It is on the former Theodore Judd land in the Kimball section along U.S. Route 211.

The 28×12 foot sign formerly adorned the top of the Tastee Freez stand at Waynesboro. The sign was dismantled, brought here and re-assembled by Tom Hannah.
