Nice ore bank

Luray museum

February 10, 1887 — We visited one day last week the ore bank of Mr. Thos. Price, near Vaughn’s Summit. Mr. P. has a fine prospect for iron ore, and has perfected the best arrangement for mining, washing and shipping ore we have ever seen. He has spent a large sum of money, and we hope more by amply compensated for his courage and energy. Not far from his mine is another iron property belonging to Mr. B.C. Rust, of Luray, which although only partially developed, gives indications of a very large deposit of superior ore.
