December 13, 1990 — A vocal majority at Monday night’s public hearing regarding a proposed county dog ordinance felt that the Page County Board of Supervisors may be “barking up the wrong tree.”
The measure was soundly defeated, 4-0, following the hearing.
If passed, the ordinance would have meant that dog owners may have been charged with a Class 4 misdemeanor and fined if their dogs were found to be causing excessive noise, nuisance or creating a disturbance.
