Age 92, Summit Point, W.Va.
Peggy Ann Hilliard Sigler, 92, of Summit Point, WV, formerly of Stanley, VA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at home, surrounded by family.
She was born September 2, 1933 and was the daughter of the late A. Grafton Hilliard and Vada M. Hilliard.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Froggy” Sigler, Sr., her daughter, Dawn N. Sigler, two sons, Danny L. Blosser and Brian M. Sigler, one brother, Jesse L. Hilliard and one sister, Beatrice M. Woodward.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah M. Cubbage and son-in-law, Carroll J. Cubbage, and Darla A. Sigler, one son, Paul E. Sigler, one brother, Arthur Hilliard, and two sisters, Maxine Cubbage and Doris Petefish, twelve grandchildren, Ann, Carla, Danielle, Christopher, Elizabeth, Emily, Elisa, Josh, Angel, Jessie, Anna, and Denise, and numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hospice of the Panhandle for their excellent care, support and compassion for their mom and their family.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry, WV with Chaplain Hayley Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery in Lovettsville, VA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to the service.
