SHENANDOAH — Page County High School’s Hunter Pettit continues to lead the Panthers’ offensive drive on the gridiron this season. The senior quarterback had a strong day both through the air and on the ground despite a narrow, one-point loss at home to King and Queen High School last Friday.

He went 7-for-14 through the air, with about 130 yards passing and one touchdown. Pettit also scored two rushing touchdowns.

For the day, he had only 20 yards on seven carries, with one run accounting for 10 yards. However, the senior’s leadership on the field has been a key to the Panthers putting up 79 points in four games.
