Proposed budget amendment would incorporate TOT funding for Museum

PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED BUDGET AMENDMENT
FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026

In accordance with Sections 15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia, a synopsis of the Town of Shenandoah’s proposed budget amendment for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 is hereby published.

A Public Hearing on the Proposed FY 2025-2026 Budget Amendment will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Shenandoah Town Hall, 426 First Street, Shenandoah, VA 22849

The purpose of the Amendment is to incorporate funding of $44,453 from Page County Transient Occupancy Tax funds to offset expenditures incurred by the Shenandoah Museum and Welcome Center. The budgeted expenditures for the Museum will be reallocated to Parks & Recreation expenses for use at Big Gem Park and/or Wigwam Village.

A copy of the Proposed Amended FY 2025-2026 Budget is on file at the Town Hall, 426 First Street, Shenandoah, VA 22849 and is available for review by calling Town Hall.
