Public hearing on proposed Town Charter changes in Shenandoah set for Aug. 27

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TOWN COUNCIL ~ TOWN OF SHENANDOAH

PROPOSED TOWN CHARTER CHANGES

Pursuant to Section 15.2- 3913 Code of Virginia, a public hearing will be held by the Shenandoah Town Council on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., in the Town Hall, 426 First Street, Shenandoah, Virginia, for the purpose of updating the Town Charter, effective upon approval of the General Assembly during the 2025 session. 

A copy of the proposed charter is available for examination in the Shenandoah Town Hall, 426 First Street, Shenandoah, Virginia, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Citizens are encouraged to attend this public hearing to express their views.

NOTE:  Any special needs individuals or hearing-impaired individuals who need an interpreter must notify the town office at least seven (7) days prior to the public hearing.
