February 21, 1891 — The Railroad Company is preparing to change a mile or more of its track at East Liberty Trestle, this county. Mr. M.L. Lucas has a large force at work, night and day, sinking shafts for rock bottom foundation for an iron bridge to be built about 500 yards east of the present trestle. If this cannot be found at a reasonable depth the company will fill the gulch at this place. The change is to be made as rapidly as possible, and when completed will cost, we are informed, thirty or forty thousand dollars.
