Age 72, Rileyville, Va.
Randolph Junior “Peanut” Lang, 72, of Rileyville, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at Page Memorial Hospital.
He was born on March 17, 1952, in Luray and was a son of the late Randolph William Lang and Virgie Mae Short Davis Lang.
On March 27, 1972, he married Sandra Lewis Lang, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Phillip Lang and wife Kelly of Luray, and Jonathan Lang of Rileyville; a daughter, Anna Mae Lang of Rileyville; four sisters, Ruth Ann Atkins and Pauline Marie Knott, both of Luray, Virgie Ann Price of South Carolina, and Peggy Jean Nelson of Louisa; a brother, Tommy Lee Davis of Stanley; two grandchildren, Katlin Lang and fiancé Isaac Rothgeb, and Jesse Lang and fiancée Hannah Shenk, all of Luray; and two great-grandchildren, Wade Edward Dotson and Matthew Gregory Rothgeb.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Leo Davis, Homer Davis and Walter Edward Davis; and a sister, Linda Mae Smith.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, at the funeral home by the Rev. James Boyette. Burial will be in the Morning Star Lutheran Cemetery in Luray.
