Age 73, Shenandoah, Va.
Rebecca Elaine Comer, 73, of Shenandoah, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg. She was born March 10, 1951, and was the daughter of the late Emmett (Bill) Good and Vera Meadows Good.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Luther Comer and a grandson, Sgt. Jacob Shifflett.
Rebecca loved to work in her garden and she loved to read. She retired from Walmart as a Deli Manager after many years of service. She always loved sending birthday cards and never missed a birthday. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sons, Joey Brill and wife Judy of Elkton, Paul Davis and wife, Crystal of Elkton; daughter, Jamie Shifflett and husband, John of Shenandoah; brothers, Donald Good of Shenandoah, Mark Good and wife, Lorry of Stanley; sisters, Ann Grimsley and husband, Frankie of Shenandoah, Deborah Comer and husband, Allen of Shenandoah, Jane Hensley and husband, Steve of Elkton; grandchildren, Zachary Brill, Justin Shifflett, Alex Davis, Koltyn Davis, Kaiden Davis, Brittany Miller.
A Memorial Service will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church in Shenandoah with Pastor Jimmy Kite and Brother Larry Sullivan officiating. Burial to follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Shenandoah.
The family will receive friends 10 a.m., Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the church, prior to the service.
