September 8, 1962 — Proclaimed as the national No. 1 singing star, Jim Reeves, will be on the program at Oak Leaf Park Sunday, Sept. 9, for afternoon and evening performances. Reeves is a popular recording star for RCA-Victor and has recorded such hits as “He’ll Have To Go,” “Am I Losing You, “Four Walls” and many others. He has also appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show and the Tonight Show. According to the management of Oak Leaf Park this will be Reeves’ first and only appearance in this part of the country.
