Age 75, Timberville, Va.
Rodger Dale “Skip” Driver, 75, of Timberville and formerly of New Market, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Sentara RMH Medical Center.
He was born in Richmond on February 15, 1950, and was a son of the late Harold and Myrtle Grady Driver.
Skip graduated from Stonewall Jackson High School and retired from the Sentara RMH Housekeeping Department. He was associated for years with the Twin County Baseball League and the former New Market Shockers.
Skip was a member of the Manor Memorial United Methodist Church in New Market.
On March 5, 1983, he married Patricia Strickler, who died on August 31, 2020.
Skip is survived by a brother, Gary Driver of New Market; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Stephen Creech will conduct a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in New Market.
Friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray.
