Age 74, Stanley, Va.
Roger Lee Cubbage, 74, of Stanley, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.
He was born on April 7, 1951, in Luray and was a son of the late Isaac and Nora Cubbage.
Roger is survived by his sister, Delores Palmer; his son, Robbin and wife Amy of Stanley; and two granddaughters, Rachel and Christina Cubbage.
His wife, Louella Ann, preceded him in death in 2012.
Roger retired from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) after a career in maintenance for 47 years. He loved the outdoors, operating and fixing equipment, big and small. He also enjoyed working with animals, especially Tennessee Walking horses.
The Rev. Larry Waters will conduct a funeral service at the Bradley Funeral Home at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 12. Burial will be in the Graves Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, at the Bradley Funeral Home.
