Age 74, Elkton, Va.
Sandra Hope “Lang” Shifflett, 74, of Elkton, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center. She was born May 16, 1951 in Page County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Loran Lang and Velva Margaret “Aleshire” Winkler.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Lang; sisters, Mary Breeden and Judy Dinges.
Sandra loved fishing and hunting. She enjoyed sewing, puzzles and computer games but loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Ray Shifflett; step-father, Samuel “Ed” Winkler; sons, Scooby Dean and partner, Pam Fox Kisling; daughters, Chasity Shifflett Gentry and husband, Kenneth, Sonya Shifflett and partner, Dwayne Smith; brother, Jerry Lang; sister, Martha Knight; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton with Pastor Carter Dean officiating. Burial to follow at Elk Run Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 9, 2025 at the funeral home.
