Scott Thomas Frost, 57, of McGaheysville, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Frost was born on September 22, 1967, in Dover, NJ and was a son of the late Byron John Frost Jr., and Jean Barbara (Walla) Frost. Most recently, Scott worked as an abstractor in the oil and mineral industry.
Scott was loving, compassionate and generous to a fault. He cared deeply about his cats who he loved as his family. He was known for his sense of humor that included a sharp, sarcastic wit! He enjoyed riding his motorcycle through the beautiful backroads of Virginia and attending motorsports events with his brother.
Scott is survived by his brother, Byron John “Skip” Frost, III and wife, April of Luray; sister, Susan Lynn Frost of Bedford; nephew, Sterling Frost, and a niece, Holly Frost.
He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
A private graveside service will be held at Port Republic Mutual Cemetery.
A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Rockingham-Harrisonburg SPCA.
Arrangements are being handled by the Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton, Va.
