LURAY, July 7 — A search is underway in Shenandoah National Park for Robert “Bob” Bieri. He was reported missing to Shenandoah National Park Rangers on the evening of Saturday, July 5.

Bieri was last seen off-trail in the vicinity of Lewis Falls on July 5. He was wearing a short-sleeved red shirt, green shorts, a fanny pack, glasses and tennis shoes. He is 61 years old, 5’10”, 205 pounds and has grey hair and brown eyes.

Shenandoah activated a full-scale search operation late evening of Saturday, July 5. The search is led by Shenandoah National Park Search and Rescue personnel aided by Virginia Department of Emergency Management and Virginia State Police.
