Age 83, Stephens City, Va.
Shelby Jean Deck Dixon, 83, of Stephens City, and formerly of Shenandoah passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024.
Shelby was born on January 8, 1941 in Glen White, Virginia.
She was the daughter of the late Frank R. and Doracas “Dorothy” J. Sanger Deck.
A private graveside service will be held.
Arrangements are being handled by the Lindsey-Kyger Funeral Home in Shenandoah, Va.

Shelby was a very giving person, plus she could do most anything from painting murals to operating cameras and putting the results online. If she didn’t know how to do something she would learn and I’m pretty sure when we (at church) needed a wrench or pliers today she’d have had one. The song, “Thank You, For Giving to the LORD’ reminds me of her. She is missed at Redeeming Love Fellowship Church.
