Shelby Jean Ramey Kibler, 86, of Harrisonburg, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Blue Ridge Rehab and Nursing in Harrisonburg.
She was born on February 10, 1937, in Luray and was a daughter of the late Harry Edward Ramey and Mary Virginia White Ramey.
Shelby had worked as a CNA at Elkton Manor.
On October 3, 1985, she married Alan Kibler, who died on February 12, 1991.
She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Ann Cubbage of Penn Laird; two sons, Gary Scott Price of Shenandoah, and Preston “Jay Bird” Price of Luray; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sons, Earl Jefferson Price Jr., David Wayne Price, Larry Eugene Price and Christopher Lee Kibler; a sister, Judith Ann Blakley; a grandson, Matthew Clark; and a great-grandson, Noah Pastrana.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 19, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Luray by the Rev. James Kite.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
