February 15, 1911 — The Courier announces this week, with unusual pleasure and felicitation the marriage of one of Luray’s “best young men,” who unites his heart and hand with one of the fair daughters of Shenandoah City, whose attractive personality is no less admired than are the beauty and charms of her character, all justly the crown of perfect young womanhood.
The sequel to this introduction is the marriage of our young friend, Mr. Carson Garrette Mason, and Miss Pearl Warthen, daughter of Mr. G.W. Warthen, which took place at the home of the bride in Shenandoah City at 3:30 o’clock on Wednesday, Feb. 15.
Only a few close personal friends were present.
