August 19, 1962 — Silco Cut Price Stores Inc. will open its new self-service discount store in Luray this morning at 9 a.m. The new store is located on Main Street at the southeast corner of the bridge in a handsome new brick and cinderblock building with 5,000 square feet of floor space. The building was erected by the Baughan Construction Co. of Luray.
