STANLEY — Community members looking to learn more about the spotted lanternfly are invited to attend an upcoming information session at the Extension Office in Stanley later this month.
Hosted by Virginia Cooperative Extension, this event will provide practical tips and techniques for managing this invasive pest. This session will cover a range of topics, including spotted lanternfly identification, life cycle, feeding damage, host preferences, management options, and more.
The hope is that attendees will leave the meeting feeling confident and reassured.
The information session will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 29 at 215 West Main Street, Suite C, Stanley. Pre-registration is required.
