LURAY — The Page County Imagination Library invites children to dress up and meet their favorite characters from children’s literature during a Storybook Character Breakfast from 9 to 11 a.m. this Saturday, Feb. 22 at Luray High School.

Children will be given an autograph book, and photos are encouraged. Each child will also choose a FREE book to take home (while supplies last).

The Page County Imagination Library is a local affiliate of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which started 30 years ago sending FREE books to children from birth to age 5. Locally more than 33,000 books have been sent to children in Page County since the local affiliate started in 2017.

Tickets to Saturday morning’s event are available on EventBrite and are $10 in advance for adults, $5 for children 6-12 and FREE for children 5 and under. Tickets will be available at the door for $15/adults and $10 for children 6-12 (cash or check only at the door).

Parents and guardians can register children under age 5 by going to the imaginationlibrary.com website.
