A deep dry snow fell Thursday of last week and another one came Sunday paralyzing traffic and practically limit- ing it to necessary trips. Temperatures did not get out of the 20s over the three-day New Year ’s holiday.

All Page County schools were closed Tuesday of this week due to the hazardous road conditions. The schools were scheduled to have opened Tuesday after being closed for the holidays. Schools were also closed Wednesday.
