July 22, 1965 — Three Page County men have been arrested and charged with breaking and entering the Hawksbill Service Station and Restaurant on U.S. 340 east of Stanley early Monday morning. They are being held in Page County jail in lieu of $3,000 bond each.

Two boxes of cigars, 20 cartons of cigarettes, 15 cases of beer and five pounds of hamburger patties were reported missing from the establishment.

Page County Sheriff Clark Long and Deputy Sheriff Aldine Painter are investigating the break-in. They found that entrance to the building was made by someone apparently kicking the glass out of the front door. On account of the blood stains around, it was apparent that the person had cut his foot on the broken glass.

The three men were arrested within 24 hours of the robbery.
