March 30, 1990 — Junior Stevie Turner pitched five innings of no-hit baseball, striking out six and walking just two, as Page County dropped Luray 9-1 in a rain-shortened game at Luray Friday. The victory improved Page’s record to 2-0 in the young season while the Bulldogs dropped to 0-2 in the first game played at Luray High School’s new athletic complex off U.S. 340.
