Weekly YouTube show dives into various issues, sites and events in the Page Valley
By Randy Arrington
LURAY, March 12 — This week we sit down with Luray-Page County Chamber of Commerce President Gina Hilliard to talk about the many events the Chamber has coming up, including the Job Fair & Workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 13 at Laurel Ridge’s Jenkins Hall in Luray.
We’ll also talk about the Chamber’s rebranding and new mission statement, as well as programs like Women in Business and Business After Hours.
(Page Valley Livin’ ~ Episode 61 was recorded Tuesday, March 11, and first aired Wednesday, March 12).
Coming up on Page Valley Livin’… we’ll be talking about the process of establishing a meat processing facility in Page County, and we’re working on interviews with a local woman who actually died for 24 seconds (and wrote a book about it) and a local man who barely survived electracution.
The aim and purpose of these videos is to provide more information about more things that make up the wonderful place we call the Page Valley of Virginia. Serious issues will be handled seriously, while lighter issues may offer more opportunity to have some fun. There is no theme or agenda other than promoting the Page Valley, and trying to better inform the people who both live here and those who love to visit.
