Vincent Lee Housden, 81, of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
He was born on March 6, 1944, in Stanley and was a son of the late Leo W. Housden and Catherine M. Dinges Housden.
On March 14, 1971, he married Goldie Mae Blosser Housden, who died on May 6, 1996.
Vincent is survived by his companion, Wanda Jean Lawson of Stanley; a daughter, Daphne Dinges of Stanley; two sisters, Bonnie Brill and Phyllis Long, both of Stanley; two granddaughters, Danielle Dinges and Victoria Caton, both of Stanley; and a nephew, Frankie Cubbage of Stanley, who was like a son.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Nelson Leo Housden; and three sisters, Dorothy Shoemaker, Diane Cubbage and Peggy Cubbage.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, at the Leake’s Chapel Church of the Brethren in Stanley.
A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 30, at the church by Pastor Charles Turner and Pastor Donnie Burns.
Burial will be in the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
