Age 41, Rappahannock County, Va.
William J. “Billy” Bedortha II, 41, of Rappahannock County, passed away unexpectedly at home on June 6, 2024. He was born on September 11, 1982, in Oregon.
He leaves behind his wife of 23 years, Jennifer; five daughters, Katie (Tristan), Kassie (Tyler), Khloie, Karlie and Koramae “Willie Nelson.” He is also survived by his granddaughter, Isla “Shades”; his parents, Bill and Edie Bedortha; and a brother, Luke “Lucifer” Bedortha.
He was preceded in death by Ethel “Granny” and Tommy Dwyer; his granddaughter, Juniper; and his grandparents, Jim and Jeanie Bedortha.
Billy enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughters and granddaughter. He was a very hard worker, working as a property manager for Mr. J. Turner in Alexandria for the last 10 years. He enjoyed farming, guns, fishing, life and nature, anything as long as it didn’t include technology.
He loved teaching Jennifer and his girls how to run equipment and have more GRIT than most men will ever have. But most of all he enjoyed doing crazy things to make sure his kids had the best time.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, at the Bradley Funeral Home by his brother, Luke Bedortha.
A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date.
