June 19, 1965 — One of Luray’s artists will have the unusually distinction of having her oil painting hung in the Australian Embassy in Washington. The picture was purchased by a representative of the embassy during an art exhibit at the Luray Singing Tower. The painting will hang at a later date in the Cranberry, Australia art collection of the Commercial Counsellor.
