May 4, 1911 — The Shenandoah YMCA lost to Luray on the local diamond, Monday, in a score of 7 to 1. The game was loosely played on both sides; the score showing many errors. Printz, Shenandoah’s pitcher, pitched a good game, but had no support.
Luray plays RMA at Front Royal, Monday, and anyone wishing to accompany the boys may do so for $1.75, which pays railroad fare, transfer to and from stations, dinner at the hotel and admission to the game.
