Anna Mae Lam, 74, of Stanley, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2023, surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 25, 1948, in Stanley and was a daughter of the late Frank Lewis Campbell and “Tiny” Moline Lucas Campbell.
Anna Mae was a member of the Riverview Independent Gospel Church in Stanley.
On October 25, 1969, she married William Layton Lam, who died on May 7, 2016.
She is survived by two sons, Greg Lam and wife Carol Ann, and Billy Lam, all of Stanley; two daughters, Linda Ramey and husband Mike, and Amy Lam, all of Stanley; two brothers, Haskell Campbell of Stanley, and Donnie Campbell of Strasburg; four sisters, Maxine Breeden of Stanley, Wanda Heltzel of Luray, Ethel Mae Keller of Fulks Run, and Wilma Campbell of New Market; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Lam; three grandchildren, Gregory Joseph Lam, Tanya McAllister and Darrick Ramey; and a brother, Ervin Campbell.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 26, at the Riverview Independent Gospel Church in Stanley by Pastor Jeff Lucas. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 25, at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
