March 20, 1986 — A huge boulder that plummeted onto the Skyline Drive Saturday night was dynamited Tuesday morning by maintenance workers from Shenandoah National Park.
A Park official estimated the size of the boulder at 70 tons, 12 feet high and 40 feet around.
