Buddy was at Boys Home in Covington, Va in 1956 when I arrived on the “Hill”. I was 12 and an aspiring basketball player. Buddy was a very good guard who reminded me of Bob Cousy of the Celtics. Buddy was a good role model for me, and mentored me to keep my cool on and off the court. RIP Buddy; “one of the few”.
