LURAY, Oct. 26 — This week the West Luray Rec Center will host its second political forum in October for local candidates in the 2020 election.
This Thursday’s pre-election, question-and-answer event will feature two candidates vying for the chairman’s seat on the Page County School Board — Jason “Scotty” Breeden and write-in candidate Megan Gordon.
Harvard University sophomore and LHS alum Alex White will serve as moderator of the event, just like he did on Oct. 8 for candidates vying for seats on the Luray Council.
The event will be broadcast on FacebookLive beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29. The broadcast can be accessed at the West Luray Rec Center Facebook page.
In-person seating at the Rec Center will be limited to 50 people.
