Age 74, Shenandoah, Va.
Charles John Courduff, 74, of Shenandoah, Va. passed away on Nov. 30, 2021 at Sentara RMH Medical Center after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born Feb. 18, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pa. and was the son of the late Charles Gilbert and Freda Courduff.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Fred, sister Lissa and grandpup Emma.
He served our country in the United States Army in Vietnam from 1964 to 1967. He worked as a roofer for Roofers Local 30 in Philadelphia, Pa. until moving his family to the Shenandoah Valley in 1992, where he worked for Cerro Metal Fabricated Products until his retirement. He was an active member of AA with 46 years of sobriety.
Surviving is his loving wife of nearly 40 years Debbie Courduff, his sons Charles Andrew Courduff and Kevin Courduff, daughters Kelly Villanueva and husband Ray, Beth Good and husband Eric, Amy Courduff, step-daughter Cathy Ann Alex, daughter-in-law Hilary Fritz and husband Matt, sister MaryLou Starrett, many nieces and nephews, grandchildren Charlie, Miranda, Calista and Valentine and his beloved dog Cooper Jack.
He donated his body to the Virginia State Anatomical Program for medical research.
