10 individuals receive 17 indictments

LURAY, Oct. 2 — Members of a grand jury in Page County Circuit Court issued a true bill on a total of 17 indictments handed down Wednesday, Oct. 2 on charges placed among 10 individuals.
Those indicted by the October 2 grand jury include:
• Jaimee Beth Good, of Luray and Stanley, was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug, two Class 6 felonies for damaging a catalytic converter, another Class 6 felony for eluding or disregarding police, and two Class 1 misdemeanors for falsely identifying herself to law enforcement and reckless driving (speeding 20 mph or more above speed limit). The catalytic converter charges occurred on Aug. 5, 2022 and Dec. 23, 2022, according to court records, with an arrest for both incidents on Dec. 20, 2023. All other charges occurred on Nov. 2, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on Nov. 3, 2023. Good is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 for a hearing.
• Karisia (a.k.a. – Karisa) Michelle Jones, of Stafford, Va., was indicted on three Class 6 felonies for three counts of child abuse (disregard of life). All three offenses occurred on April 30, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on May 7, 2024. Jones is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024 for a hearing.
• Brianna Noelle Good, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Dec. 12, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on May 31, 2024. Good is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 for a hearing.
• Lorene Jane Groves, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on June 12, 2024, according to court records. Groves appeared in court on Monday, Oct. 7 to enter a plea of guilty. She received a sentence of three years (with time served) and two years of supervised probation.
• Eric Levi Jenkins, of Bentonville, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on July 10, 2024, according to court records. Jenkins is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2024 for a hearing.
• William Leroy Kirtley Jr., of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on Dec. 15, 2023, according to court records, with an arrest on May 9, 2024. Kirtley is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 for a hearing.
• Steven Clark Kornicker II, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense occurred on June 18, 2024, according to court records, with an arrest on June 21, 2024. Kornicker is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2024 for a hearing.
• Bradley Williams Ladd, of Shenandoah, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on July 2, 2024, according to court records. Ladd is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 for a bond hearing.
• Wayne Allen Peck, of Stanley, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for the possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on July 11, 2024, according to court records. Peck is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 for a hearing.
• Brian James Woodward, of Luray, Va., was indicted on a Class 5 felony for possession of a Schedule I/II drug. The offense and an arrest occurred on July 24, 2024, according to court records. Woodward is scheduled to appear in court again at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2024 for a hearing.
Grand jury hearings are held the first Wednesday of each month in Page County Circuit Court.
