Age 71, Elkton, Va.
Daniel Thomas “Danny” Eppard, 71, of Elkton, Virginia, passed away February 18, 2026, at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville with family at his side. He was born June 22, 1954, in Harrisonburg, and was the son of the late David Noah and Wilda Virginia Lam Eppard.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Terry Ray Eppard, David Allen Eppard and Darrell “Dolly” Eppard.
Danny was raised in the Jollett area of Page County and had previously been employed with Virginia Metalcrafters. A man of belief in Christ, he maintained strong faith throughout his life. Danny will always be remembered for his positive outlook, big smile, and love of his family and God.
Danny is survived by his sister, Julie “Sissy” Eppard and companion, Steve Kyger; brothers, Larry “Boot” Eppard and wife, Donna, Forrest “Toby” Eppard and Carlton “Squeaky” Eppard; special nieces, Kimberly Midkiff and husband, Ricky and Misty Anderson, and many extended family members.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2026, at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton with Pastor Jim Kite and Pastor Carter Dean officiating. Interment at Jollett Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, February 22, 2026, at the funeral home.
