Robert Claude Moyers, 90, of New Market, passed away Thursday morning, April 2, 2026, at his home.
Bob was born November 19, 1935, at the family home in New Market, VA. He was the son of the late Irvin C. and Eunice Burkholder Moyers.
He graduated from Broadway High School in 1954. In 1958, he graduated from Bridgewater College. Bob was a member of the Bridgewater baseball team and started the golf team. Upon his graduation, he was drafted into the Army continuing his service with the Army National Guard.
Bob persued a successful 23-year career with Aileen Inc. He then changed career course and began Bob Moyers Sales working 20 years as an Independent Sales Rep in the Window and Door Industry.
Bob was active with New Market Rebels for many years. He served on the Shenvalee Board of Directors. He was an avid golfer and champion who was inducted into The Virginia Golf Hall of Fame class of 2023.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Lineburg, and his brother, Donald L. Moyers.
Bob is survived by two daughters, Jan Foltz and her husband, Ernie, of Richmond, and Jill Bush and her husband, Bob, of Richmond; a brother, William and his wife, Shirley, of Woodstock; his sister-in-law, Imogene Poland of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Julie and Chet Landes, Matt Bush, Jillian Dankel, Brian Bush, and Chad Foltz; and his great-grandchildren, Jackson, Adeline, and Anne Landes.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 6, at Manor Memorial Methodist Church from 6 to 8 p.m. The Rev. Stephen Creech will conduct a service on Tuesday, April 7, at 2 p.m. at the church.

I new Bob Moyers and worked with him at Aileen Inc.in Abilene Texas from 1969 on,we were both transfered to Abilene he from New Market were he was the sewing Plant Manager and I from Edinburgh.
We were good friends and Margory and my Wife where even better friends.
I have pictures of there children when they came to visit and like to send them to Bob and Margorys children.I am sure they would like to see them as they both were small.
