April 2, 1964 — The Luray Bowling Lanes’ team defeated Waynesboro here recently in a duck-pin match highlighted by some excellent rolling.
Luray pounded out games of 629, 626 and 654 for a strong set of 1,909 and won all three games. Waynesboro rolled games of 601, 579 and 615 for a set of 1,796.
Lee Roy Tomney of the Luray Bowling Lanes’ team took individual honors for the match with a set of 428 and game of 164.
Others having high sets for Luray were Charles Beaghan, 408; Kyle Beaghan, 355; and Randolph Cloude, 340.
