Fox tests positive for rabies

August 18, 1962 — The encampment of Page County 4-H boys and girls at the Powell’s Fort area was thrown into a dither last Friday evening when a fox showed up after dusk in the light of the campfire where 50 boys and girls were assembled. The fox was killed and the head brought to Luray where it was found positive for rabies by the State Laboratory.
