Age 76, Stanley, Va.
Freeman Ernest “Salty” Cubbage Jr., 76, of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020, at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born on Feb. 14, 1944, in Page County and was a son of the late Freeman Ernest Cubbage and Lucille Campbell Cubbage.
On Feb. 17, 1965, he married Juanita Florence Alger Cubbage, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Penny Griffith and husband Greg of Luray; and two sisters, Dianne Lowe of Stanley, and Louise Mongold of Harrisonburg.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Junior Cubbage; a brother, Journey Cubbage; and two sisters, Maxine Cubbage and Elaine Comer.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Leake’s Chapel Cemetery in Stanley.
Arrangements are being handled by the Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
