September 20, 1965 — A deed dated Aug. 11 is recorded in the Page County Clerk’s Office whereby J. Maurice Grove and wife have purchased the former Lester L. Biedler farm in Marksville Magisterial District from Mr. and Mrs. Aurelius Zenobia who purchased the farm in 1948. The transfer involved approximately 300 acres of land about one mile north of Stanley on both sides of U.S. 340. The consideration was not stated. The Groves also own and operate Fairview Farm on Route 340 south of Luray.
