Age 81, Luray, Va.
Harold Leon Kibler, 81, of Luray, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022, at Envoy of Staunton. He was born on February 27, 1941, in Rileyville and was a son of the late Willis Dearing Kibler and Sudie A. Smith Kibler.
Harold was a member of the Forward For Christ Baptist Church in Luray. On February 11, 1963, he married Sheila Rae Kibler, who died on July 21, 2004. On September 17, 2005, he married Maria Dawn Simmons Kibler, who survives.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Chris Kibler and wife Maxine, and Jeff L. Kibler, all of Luray, and Timothy Kibler and wife Tina of Rileyville; a brother, Earl Franklin Kibler of Front Royal; a sister, Katherine G. Phillips of Luray; five grandchildren, Christy Flach and husband Jason, Samantha Dinges and husband Chris, Hannah Kibler, Madison Kibler and Hunter Kibler; and two great-grandchildren, Allie Rae and Olivia Grace Dinges.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Carol Leo, Emanuel Cletus, Virgil Lynwood and Wade D. Kibler; and two sisters, Madeline Kline and Floranna Stoneberger.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, at the Forward For Christ Baptist Church by Pastor Josh Parlett. Burial will be in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 7, at the church.

I only knew him from Envoy (I work there). I’ll miss our late night hall-wandering sessions. He was a good guy, and I’m sure I’m not the only one there who will miss him. Godspeed, Harold.
