‘Insane’ in custody

September 8, 1887 — Mr. W.H. Culton, an officer of the W.L. Asylum, at Staunton, a courteous and intelligent gentleman, came down from that institution Wednesday and took in custody Mr. W.J. Young, insane, who has been confined for several days in the jail in this place.

Mr. Young was lately a citizen of Indiana, though for several days prior to his confinement he was living at Milnes.
