Age 72, Stanley, Va.
Janet Marie Reynolds, 72, of Stanley, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at her home. She was born March 10, 1949, in Harrisonburg to the late Glendon and Virginia Hilliards Freeze.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Reynolds; infant brother, Randolph Freeze, and infant sister, Sharon Freeze.
Janet had most recently worked at Hawksbill Diner until retiring. She previously attended Shenandoah Pentecostal Church and Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle Church in New Market and was a member of Fraternal Order of the Eagles No. 4264 in New Market.
Surviving are two sons, Keith Kibler and wife, Teresa of Shenandoah, and Mark Kibler and wife, Valeri of Hedgesville, WV; longtime companion, Chris Fender of Stanley; previous husband, Ralph Kibler; brother, David Freeze; sisters, Angie Freeze, Donna Wallace, Faye Newman, Patricia Painter, Carolyn Sours, Martha Brown, and Brenda Brown; three grandchildren, Christopher Cash, Heather Kibler, and Erik Kibler; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Mount Zion Cemetery in Luray with Pastor Charles Clinedinst officiating.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Kyger Funeral Home in Elkton. Facial coverings and social distancing will be required for the health of others.
