Age 77, Stanley, Va.
Josephine Ellen Meadows Pettit, 77, of Stanley, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
She was born on April 30, 1945, in Page County and was a daughter of the late Vernie E. Meadows and Hattie Thomas Meadows.
On Nov. 3, 1964, Josephine married Jesse Pettit, who survives.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Jason Pettit and wife Leigh Ann of Stanley; a daughter, Kym Cave and husband Steve of Stanley; three sisters, Leola Brooks, Vontella Warnken and Sally Painter, all of Stanley; a granddaughter, Holly Printz of Stanley; and a great-granddaughter, Hallie Jo Printz of Stanley.
She was preceded in death by a brother, James E. Meadows.
A private graveside service is planned at the Beahm’s Chapel Cemetery in Luray by Pastor Andy Seastrom.

Arrangements are being handled by The Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, Va.
